Barry and Gayle have worked hard with legislators to compose a bill that would protect Quaker parrots in the wild from harm. Also, Barry was instrumental, on several occasions, in saving parrots when the nests were destroyed–including the removal of over thirty naked little babies, who were handfed and placed in a Rhode Island parrot sanctuary, where they will reside for life. So,this is a win/win opportunity.
