Article on the History of Wild Parrots in the U.S.

I just received a link from George Sommers, who is not only an accomplished writer, but also the author of the children’s book “I SAW WILD PARROTS IN NEW YORK CITY!!” mentioned previously (it’s out by the way!). A History of the American Quaker (Parrot) will be written as a three part series. View the first installment

Yesterday evening I saw green birds I later indentified as what is shown on this website as Quaker parrots. I live in the western suburbs of Chicago. At first I thought they might have escaped from the Brookfield Zoo.
