Wild Turkeys … in Staten Island??

I know this blog is dedicated to our wonderful wild parrots, but today of all days, I thought I’d include this news item sent to me by my sister about wild turkeys!

    I just have to say it: they’re so much more beautiful alive and free, than raised on a factory farm and presented on a plate. On this day, I give thanks for life, as every life is truly precious.
