Irene from New Rochelle reported on Sunday:

Just after Irene arrived I saw two parrots just off Long Island Sound in Davenport Park, New Rochelle, NY. I heard many more. They were in apple and pear trees. I have never seen parrots in New Rochelle before, so I don’t know if they’re local or got displaced because of the storm.
