    An email sent to me today reported:

    We have spotted dozens of these parrots, Granny Smith apple green color, in the wetland area of Seaford, LI. May are seen flying into and out of [redacted].

    I first spotted 8 birds 3 summers ago eating apples from my neighbors backyard. I had a conure as a pet, these are the same color green. A sight of noise and beauty.
