Parrots in the Park

I received an email today from someone who was in the Conservatory Gardens in NYC yesterday and saw a flock of about 30 green parrots. They flew north and east into Central Park.

I live in Alliance, Ohio and just saw a green parrot on a wire behind my house! Could it be one of yours? I have never seen green parrots in Ohio.

No, I don’t think it’s one of ‘mine’ LOL. It’s likely a flock that has migrated to your area, or, if you just see the one, it’s probably someone’s pet that has gotten loose.

    Today Steven reports:

“Was biking up west side just before the GWB. Two were flying south, right over the bike path”
